It took more than 50 years of consistent and arduous efforts by an array of eminent Odia personalities from every walk of life to have a separate province for Odia-speaking people. It was a quest for identity, for unification of that identity. It's only natural to have hundreds of stories, incidents and trivia about this 50-years of struggle.
